Bedfordshire County Cricket League

Welcome to the Bedfordshire County Cricket League

The most competitive Sunday Cricket League in the Country

League handbook available - contact bcclsec@ntlworld.com for a copy

I have the honour of taking over from Ian Smith who Chaired the League for 13 years and it will be a hard task to match the effort and endeavour that Ian put in to make the Bedfordshire County Cricket League the success it is. In 2012 we welcome Blunham 3rds and Luton Town & Indians 4ths to League structure and welcome back Potton Town 2nd XI.

In 2005 we started to operate a single League ladder format that sees promotion & relegation between our all of our divisions. In 2007 we added a Development Division. In 2010 we added a Fifth Division.

We field a Representative XI in the Club Cricket Conference Inter League Competition. The Representative XI in 2011 beat the Chiltern Cricket League by 1 wicket in what was quite an extraordinary game at Dunstable’s Lancot Park. The weather was against us at Wardown Park in the second round as we bowed out to the Saracens Hertfordshire League. The side is captained by Carl Ferguson (Flitwick CC), scorecards & fixtures can now be seen on the Beds Cricket Board site.

In 2012 we will hopefully host the RAF and we will once again take part in the Club Cricket Conference Inter League Knock Out Competition.
